It is the year 1944; the story begins in a small hut in Ankara. Kid's trousers, shirts, shorts are being sewed by a sewing machine that works with manpower. 2 partners work night and day for 5 or 6 years dreaming of an atelier.
In 1950 a small shop is found in a mall in a shopping area called Adliye. Soon a suspending ceiling is made of wood and the atelier with 3 machines starts working upstairs, cutting, sewing and selling kid's clothes. 10 years pass by...
During 1960's the shop is no longer sufficient, it is Açıklamanız large enough and it is far from the market. So they move to a bigger store in Ulus, a center of commerce and go on selling their products day after day.
Within the years of 1970's the longing for Istanbul becomes no longer bearable, so the migration starts. Again kid's clothes are being sewed and sold this time in a small shop in Yesildirek.
In 1975 members of the 2nd generation of Akaylar family are ready to take over the work and get involved in business.
They establish the Akaylar Koll. Sti.. A big store is bought in Melek Han and started over eagerly. The 2nd generation is also impatient; soon they find a place for an atelier in Sehremini and establish Pamosa Koll. Sti.. So Pamosa Jeans is born in 1976. The Turkish youth meet with the great blue jean which is manufactured in their homeland. Stadiums, public busses, billboards advertise in Istanbul, TVs introduce Pamosa brand all over Turkey.
Meanwhile Akaylar school uniforms prove country wide, what true meaning of quality is. Together with the media, planes flying posters bearing logos over skies, TVs broadcast messages from Akaylar.
In 1980's Akaylar school uniforms are at the peak where they deserve. They are presented to the customers in top stores in their original packing with the understanding of a strict quality control while Pamosa Jeans is struggling to penetrate into foreign markets, challenging foreign competitors and trying it's name to be known all over the world while they become a corporate. They establish Akaylar Co. Inc. and Pamosa Co. Inc.; atelier turns into a factory,
Denim cloth changes to a washed jean, Alpaca cloth turns into a packed school uniform. The targeted quality is achieved. And taking part in fairs begins with sleepless nights while Turkey announces it's presence in textile industry.
And...
In 1990, Pamosa wins a gold medal on International Quality and Prestige Award in Paris. Akaylar brand, for the first time in Turkey gives full service to the parents of the College students with the collaboration of Kültür Koleji in finalizing the school shopping in only 15 minutes which could otherwise last for days. Every one feels happy and thankful to them with encouraging words.
So we start to think a little bit about young girls and mothers and Pimino brand comes into life; Russia, Turkic Republics and Arab world become familiar with this brand and are included in the reference list. And so the years of 2000's arrive, studies continue for the 3rd generation of Akaylar family and they get ready to take over.
